After months of planning, 13 3rd year University of Mary DPT students and I are eagerly awaiting our service learning experience to Guatemala. This is the 6th annual trip the PT students have taken in collaboration with the GOD's CHILD Project. Please view the GCP website http://www.gcpnc.org/ to gain a better understanding and appreciation for the wonderful work that they do. We will be taking off on Oct 29 from Bismarck and will be arriving in Guatemala City on Tuesday Oct 30 at 5:00am. Please check back periodically as we journal our adventures.

For all of you Bachlor lovers with my mom in Guatemala I will give you the details:
Jenni danced for Brad and her Grandma asked all of the tough questions
Sheena's family took them out on the river and her mom told him about the stars and how they fit perfectly together
DeAna ended up having some more unexpected relatives over for a big greek party
Betina's dad thought that Brad's not finishing college is a disgrace
In the end DeAna, Jenni, and Betina are still around for the overnight dates.
I hope all of the flights went smoothly and you all feel welcome to such a wonderful place!
